On the outskirts and in the surrounding area of Vienna, the public transport network is far less dense than in the city centre.

The aim of the Climathon Vienna's mobility challenge by Wiener Linien was to find out how public transport in peripheral urban areas can be improved in a sustainable way.

But we at triply think that to tackle this problem we need to start one step further. Before finding a solution for that specific problem, the problems and demand for mobility in the specified areas should first be analyzed in detail!

During the 24-hour Climathon, we built this interactive Data Visualization which unveils and compares the potential of public transport combined with last mile trips on foot or by bike.
